CAP I.T. Equipment
LAPTOPS
At the CAP we have six laptop computers with various items of software on each one. For personal data we have memory sticks that you purchase from us. We also have a 500Gb network drive for regular visitors to keep their files on.
SOFTWARE
All laptops have Microsoft Office 2007 installed and other software packages vary on each system. Some of the other packages include:- Garden Designer, Crosstich designer, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Photoshop Elements, Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6, Sony ACID XPress 5, Albeton Live 5 (lite), Cubase Lite, Reason 3 Music Maker, Driving Test Theory, Jules Verne Journey to the Moon (Game), FIFA World Cup 2006 (game), X-OOM Music Clean, Legacy Family Tree Deluxe, DK 3D World Atlas, Dreamweaver 9 CS3, HP PhotoStitch.
COLOUR PRINTER
We have an all-in-one colour printer that can Scan, Copy and Print photos and documents (this is also on a wireless connection). Our printer can also print passport style photos in a block of four identical pictures that we can use to proccess bus passes etc.
LASER PRINTER
We have a second printer that is a (black & white) laser printer for people that have large documents to print out.
ACCESSORIES
We have various additional items which include:- Cordless Keyboards & Mice, Audio Headsets, Large Key keyboard for the partial sighted, Extra large ball mouse for the disabled, Joysticks, Gamepads, & LED Projector with 6' screen.
INTERNET
All our laptops have wireless connections to the internet which is via content restricted servers that prevent our younger users from accessing undisireable sites. Other sites that are blocked include Gambling and Gaming sites but if a group wish to access perticular sites we get them un-blocked.
